Blair said there are three points in the interview process to impact candidate experience: when it scheduled, during the interview, and after the interview. “These may seem basic,” Blair cautioned, “but are often overlooked.” Simple improvements like directions, manners and feedback can positively or negatively affect the job interviewer.

“Research clearly shows that the candidate experience in the hiring process, the interview included, impacts in a positive way the overall impression of the organization and the job,” shared Blair. “These things are inversely related to turnover.”
