HP wanted to build a ‘one-stop shop’ for recruiters to have access to the right tools, training, news, and resources like the Human Capital Institute. “We made sure that our recruiters have the real-time information they need for professional development,” said Weitzman. One of the tools offered is a ‘Recruiter Academy’; an internal knowledge sharing network designed to make the organization more transparent. “The core competencies taught us where the knowledge gaps where,” Weitzman explained. Quarterly internal webcasts were also added to the schedule. “Again, our goal is to deliver best-in-class tools to the recruiting team, so that they can find the best talent.” |
