Expect that one size does not fit all and anticipate the need for flexibility. Identifying points where flexibility is possible furthers stakeholder buy-in, as long as flexibility does not affect legal requirements or metrics that will be needed to track progress. Often measurement of an onboarding program is the first aspect that is allowed to falter after implementation. Being vigilant on measurement even after a successful implementation will provide ongoing confirmation of practices to continue, to start or to stop. |
