Two well-known companies’ experience in onboarding provided additional motivation for John Deere. A study at Corning Glass Works discovered that employees who participated in a structured onboarding program were 69% more likely to stay with their company after three years than those who did not go through the program. And at Capital One, executives cited lack of support during transitioning to their new role as a significant reason for leaving. |
