Metrics of key onboarding meeting completion are being tracked to success rates of participating new executives. Based on the successful executive assimilation at headquarters, EMC’s merger and integration platform now follows the same executive onboarding process. “It is on the roadmap for all the company’s M&A deals,” stated Louise Korver-Swanson. EMC’s executive onboarding initiative includes working with both expatriates and foreign nationals. Louise mentioned an indicator of successful partnering is their executive development team being on calls at 5 am and 9 pm to support executives throughout the global enterprise. |
